I'm sure this pattern has to exist but nothing showed on search, so I whipped one up quickly. 

This is based upon the html view of the Wordpress wysiwyg editor in the post editor. It includes upload of media as well as most of the basic html options. I'd love to do the visual editor version as well, but have yet to figure out an easy way to add to the icon library. If you know how and its easy, just leave a comment at the bottom of this post.
